We are a group of dedicated volunteers working to save the lives of wonderful pets who may have been abandoned, dumped or surrendered by the people they loved and trusted. Their only problem is that they don't have a forever home to go to. Some of our dogs come from high kill sheters in GA and TN where they run the very real risk of being put to sleep at any time due to the steady, daily arrival of more and more dogs. Puppies are special targets due to lack of spaying and neutering in those states.

We are a pound, not a shelter. Unfortunately we do have to euthanize for lack of space and dogs may only be held for 8 days if space becomes an issue. So please contact us immediately if you see a dog you would like to adopt because their time may be almost up. With the help of Petfinder.com and various rescue organizations we have been operating for over one year now as a no kill shelter. With your support, we hope to continue operating this way forever.
