Carolina Boxer RescueCarolina Boxer Rescue, Inc. is a volunteer run, 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving both North and South Carolina. We are run by a board of directors and follow all state laws, as well as abide by the Code of Ethics set forth by the American Boxer Rescue Association (http://www.abra.rescuegroups.com/) Our Boxers come to us from shelters, humane societies and directly from owners. They enter into volunteer foster homes throughout both NC and SC. They live indoors with the foster family and other pets. Each Boxer receives a complete physical, immunizations, sterilization, heartworm test and is treated for any illnesses or diseases it may have. We evaluate temperament to ensure that each Boxer we rescue will make a good family pet. These evaluations are achieved through living with the dog and watching him/her interact with our other pets, our children and adults. We test the dog for aggression issues and identify any behavior problems. Each dog learns basic house manners, is crate and also house trained. We do not take in or place dogs with known human aggression issues.
