Friends for Life Animal Outreach is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Sacramento-based organization dedicated to the care and well-being of companion animals. Our all-volunteer members are concerned citizens who share the hope of making a difference for the many homeless cats and dogs crowding shelters and surviving in the alleys, parks, and buildings of our community.
Our efforts focus on spay/neuter of domestic animals as well as Trapping, Neutering and Return of feral cats (TNR). As always we rescue, rehabilitate and place all adoptable animals in to permanent, loving homes!

Most of our dogs come from small rural shelters. Overwhelmed with abandoned animals, these shelters would be forced to euthanize these dogs were it not for Friends for Life. By adopting one of these special dogs, you are truly saving a life. Our shelter is located on private land in Frederick County, Maryland. We have no adoption center there, and it is not open to the public.
