Forgotten Animals of L.AFounded in 1999 by Charleen Sweeney, Forgotten Animals of Los Angeles (FALA) is dedicated to the rescue of homeless cats and dogs and the elimination of their suffering. The organization understands that animal over-population is the root of the problem. It is our goal to make the public aware of their responsibility toward animals. Forgotten Friends - Mixed Breed RescueThe group was started eight years ago to help reduce the number of sweet, loving dogs that die everyday for lack of a commited home. Forgotten Friends rescues adoptable dogs from kill shelters around the area and cares for them in a private mini shelter while they wait for a foster home to have an opening or a new foster home to sign up with the group.
