Second Chance FarmThe name "Second Chance Farm" about says it all. We care for all kinds of animals who come to us under many different circumstances. We limit our intake of animals to those critters who truly have no one else to look after them. So please do not contact us in hopes that we can take in your own animals or those that have come under your care. We have VERY limited space and unfortunately, there are enough "owner-less" critters out there to keep us quite busy! Most of the animals that come our way are healthy and happy from the start ... but some require medical and/or surgical attention before they are healthy enough to go up for adoption. Our goal is to give these deserving critters a SECOND CHANCE at finding a loving and permanent home. Animals that are not considered "adoptable" (due to medical conditions) stay at Second Chance Farm indefinitely - where they receive necessary medical care for the rest of their life. All of our animals up for adoption are healthy and happy, on flea & heartworm prevention, spayed or neutered and are up to date on vaccinations. Most of our animals have been found by good Samaritans who bring them to us, or from pet owners who need to surrender their pets for various reasons. Each animal in our care receives thorough vet examinations and any vet services needed to ensure good health. Each is also evaluated for temperament to help us determine the best possible home situation and if any behavior modification and/or training is needed prior to adoption.
