Northeast Ohio Labrador Rescue is dedicated to finding good homes for good Labs. All of our adoptable Labs are in foster homes where they are socialized in preparation for placement in new, loving homes. we are now Northern Lights Molosser Rescue and we will be primarily rescuing the rarer Molosser breeds. These are breeds that have been true guardians & "watchers" of their families for long before many of these "common" breeds were ever acknowledged or developed, and as such are not breeds that can be made to "conform" to our idea of what we want them to be.

N.O.A.H. (Northwest Organization for Animal Help) was founded in 1988 and opened its new Animal Adoption Center in May 2003. The goal of N.O.A.H. is stopping the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable animals in Northwest Washington and “Building a Bond for Life between pets and their families. Partnering with overcrowded local animal shelters in Snohomish, Skagit and Whatcom counties, N.O.A.H. takes animals and gives them another chance for adoption.
N.O.A.H. also offers low-cost spay/neuter to low-income pet guardians, dog obedience classes, a gift shop, and established volunteer program. Since opening, over 4,100 dogs and cats have been adopted into new homes and over 11,000 pets have been spayed or neutered. N.O.A.H. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization supported by tax deductible donations.

We are a full service veterinary hospital that is committed to helping as many sick and injured animals as we can through our Good Samaritan program. Generally, animals are brought to us by people ("Good Sams") who find them and we fix them up and adopt them out when they are healthy. All the animals we adopt out are up to date on their vaccines, have negative fecal exams, are dewormed and are flea-free. Our adoption fees are between $45 and $150 depending on the age, species and breed. We require that all pets we adopt out be spayed or neutered prior to adoption if they are old enough or that a deposit be left to ensure they will be spayed/neutered at the appropriate age. We get a lot of kittens coming through our doors and we don't always have time to list them individually so feel free to call us and check on who's up for adoption.

But our DREAM is to one day have a sanctuary for homeless Rottweilers. A place that will enable us to save many, many more lives then we are able to do now.Too many Rottweilers die everyday because they are trapped in shelters. They have no where to go. We need more foster homes and what we REALLY need, is a sanctuary!
