Happy Dog RescueWe are a private foster home rescuing dogs from kill shelters. We get them vetted (including spay/neuter) and then match them with adopters. All meetings are by appointment only. All adopters are prescreened before meeting a dog. Please submit an adoption application if you are interested in meeting any of our dogs. Application, vet reference, and home visit are all part of the screening process. Animal House RescueAnimal House Rescue, Inc. was founded in April of 2002 by Jody Goins and Nancy Romanczuk. Jody and Nancy met in 2000 when they were both volunteers at the Fulton County Humane Society. When the Humane Society decided it would no longer accept animals, they could not simply sit back and do nothing. Jody and Nancy were the ones who would get the pictures of dogs and cats on euthanasia lists all across Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Shannons CompanionsWe are very excited to announce that donations are now tax deductable!!!! We are a private rescue organizion. We do not receive any funding so adoption fees and donations are a critical part of keeping our adoption program active. The majority of our adoptable animals are puppies/dogs that have ran out of time at other shelters, abandoned litters of puppies, puppy mill rescues and surrendered animals. We also rescue horses/ponies from abusive homes, seizure by local officials and auctions.
