Rescuecats, Inc.RescueCats, Inc. is a no-kill, nonprofit, licensed by GA Dept of AG, organization whose main focus is educating the public about proper treatment of animals, which includes addressing pet overpopulation issues and the importance of spay and neutering. We provide temporary care for orphaned and owner released kittens and cats. Foster care, including shelter, food/water, love, and necessary medical care is given to each animal until it can be adopted into a suitable home. Cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV (Feline Leukemia & Feline Aids), dewormed, vaccinated for RCPC (distemper combo)& Rabies(if old enough), Bordetella, treated for fleas, ear mites, and anything else that might be necessary prior to adoption. The animals are spayed or neutered to stop the cycle of overpopulation and to improve the overall health of the cat or kitten. We are primarily a dog rescue although we've placed birds and rabbits once or twice. We are an all-breed rescue.
