Adopt A StrayAdopt A Stray is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in South Florida, founded by a small group of experienced volunteers. Since we do not yet have a shelter we operate as a foster care program, working to deal with the stray overpopulation by taking unwanted and unloved dogs and cats off the streets. Our foster homes provide temporary safe refuge until they are placed in a permanent loving home. Adopt A Stray relies exclusively on private donations to provide food and medical care, including the spay/neuter of adoptable pets and feral cats. CompAnimals Pet RescueCompAnimals began as a Senior Pet Rescue in 1999. CompAnimals has gone on to rescue over 650 more unwanted pets. We have expanded to help all animals in need but specialize in the "unadoptables": cats & dogs missing hair, animals needing surgery prior to adoption, missing limbs or eyes, sick kittens or puppies that don't have a chance at the shelter, any animal that just needs a little extra TLC before finding that forever home. Of course we won't turn away a perfectly healthy dog or cat who, through no fault of his own has found himself on death row. Vicky's Pet ConnectionVicky's Pet Connection is a growing non-profit organization in Kent County. Our mission is to rescue and recycle unwanted pets and to emphasize low/no cost spays and neuters. Every dog and cat that passes through VPC is sterilized. We are a "no kill" organization working to secure foster homes for the many animals that pass through our door.
