Lost Paws Rescue of Texas is a non-profit group comprised of volunteers who dedicate themselves to rescuing animals. We are a no kill rescue group, operating solely on donations. We do not receive any type of government or institutional funding. Our volunteers foster our rescue animals in their own homes. Our rescue animals are introduced to other animals and then socialized within their foster family. We provide all our rescued adoptables with medical treatment, good food, exercise, love and all the socialization they need.

We are devoted to rescuing dogs and cats from shelters and to being a part of the solution to pet overpopulation. Rescued animals are cared for in foster homes until permanent placements can be made. We believe spaying and neutering family pets is the primary way to reduce the number of homeless animals. Therefore, no pet will leave our program until that animal has been altered.

We are the SPCA of Montgomery County. We are a volunteer based, pet rescue and rehabilitation organization providing a safe haven for neglected, abused, and abandoned animals. We are a no-kill organization, adopting out healthy, friendly animal companions. Because we are a no kill organization, and we don't have our own shelter, the only way we can take in more pets is to have additional foster homes. By keeping our pets in foster homes, and remaining a volunteer based org., we have no building overhead or payroll costs so all of the money brought in by adoptions or donations is put directly back into the care of our pets. Please call and let us know if you have room to care for any of these deserving pets.
