City of Electra Texas/Animal ControlWe are a small impound/holding facility, located in Electra, TX. I am the ACO, Mickie Mann. It is my job to pick up the lost or stray dogs found wandering the streets. They are taken to the impound until we can find their owners or put up for adoption, if they are not claimed. We work with Wilburger/Vernon Humane Society, Wichita Falls Humane Society, Spotted Acres Rescue in Headsburg OK, Altus Animal Aid, Inc, Three B Rescue, Tulsa Lab Rescue and many other Rescues in the Oklahoma & Texas area. Elgin Humane Society Adoption CenterThe Elgin Humane Society is a non-profit group dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, and the extension of humane education. It is the policy of the Society to promote humane care and treatment for all animals in Elgin and in the Elgin area; to seek to assist the return of lost animals to their owners; and to seek suitable homes for animals without owners. North Ellis County Animal Awareness ProgramNECAAP is a non-for-profit animal rescue for the injured and ill animals. We take in special needs homeless animals. Specifically, animals that have been hit by cars,heartworm positive dogs, mange-ridden ,and we also take in the seniors that are hard to place.
