Austin Dog Alliance is driven to make dogs a part of the community. We support many activities that bring joy to both the humans and the dogs. In addition to helping families find a new canine family member, we also offer pet therapy programs and educational programs for kids. We bring smiles to the faces of young and old by utilizing the most wonderful tool, the joy and love of our canine companions.

RRCHS is a small group of volunteers who struggle to control the population of unwanted dogs and cats in a rural area of northeast Texas. As with all small animal rescue operations, we struggle financially as well as with a very limited volunteer base. We have been in existance since 1997 and just succeeded two years ago in getting the City of Clarksville to open an animal shelter, which we think, given the limited resources, is fairly decent for a small town of less than 3,000.

Our shelter is very small. We only take rescue animals believing that Owners should be held responsible for their own pets. Every animal that you see on our pages was fished out of a wet ditch or found in poor shape on the road. They have all been vet checked and spay/neutered and been brought back to health.
