We are dedicated to the principle of rescuing stray, unwanted, abused, and lost animals (cats and dogs) for the purpose of rehabilitation and recycling through regular adoption efforts. In addition, AURORAS believes community education is necessary to inform the public of the importance of spaying and neutering pets.

If you are not familiar with ETOSHA, we are an all-breed no-kill shelter first organized in 1988 in South Texas. We began as a sanctuary for Great Danes, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Mastiffs and a variety of unwanted hunting dogs. Our main facility is currently located on five acres outside the city limits of Seguin, with eight foster homes located in nearby counties. We are one of the largest no-kill shelters in Texas, and while we are best known for Hounds and Great Danes, we rescue many other breeds as well as mixed breeds

ARFhouse is now the third largest care-for-life, no-kill canine sanctuary in the U.S. with over 280 dogs on site. ARFhouse provides refuge and care for unwanted, abused, and/or physically challenged canines without regard to size, breed, temperament, age or physical disabilities. Most of the dogs are free to roam the 25 acre property and swim in one of the three ponds. The unsocialized dogs have large 30' by 60' yards with their own dog houses, and if possible, an animal companion with which they can get along.

Our mission is: ? To take in stray, abandoned, or surrendered Boerboels and provide them with foster care, behavior screening, rehabilitation, and health care. Our ultimate goal, of course, is to place them in loving forever homes ? To educate the public about the nature and behavior of the Boerboel, and the duties inherent in being a responsible pet owner, which include spaying and neutering all companion animals ? To answer questions and help families decide if a Boerboel is right for their home.

Our mission is to promote the humane treatment of all animals and end pet overpopulation through programs such as adoption, spay/neuter, and education of the public. We envision a community where all animals are treated humanely, all pets live in responsible, caring homes, and euthanasia is no longer a means of population control. We promote the well being of animals through providing foster homes, medical care, sustenance, socialization, and adoption services for dogs.
