Signal Mountain Adopt A Pet was established in 1971 as a voluntary nonprofit charitable organization which is dedicated to providing care to animals who are abandoned, mistreated, or neglected throughout Chattanooga, Tennessee and surrounding areas. It is located on Signal Mountain in Tennessee. Since its founding, SMAAP has rescued and found homes for thousands of animals. We are an no-kill, 501(c)3 org. We have no facility, but are connected by foster homes who love and nurture the animals in our care. The Paris-Henry County Humane Society has been organized to be a network of individuals whose purpose is to prevent cruelty, abuse, and neglect of animals and to promote awareness of animal issues.
