The Lehigh County Humane Society is a non-profit, charitable organization, which means all gifts to the shelter are tax deductible. The shelter's goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and to adopt out homeless pets into a new, loving, forever home. We provide a temporary home until a permanent one can be found. We also provide such services as a low cost spay/neuter clinic, vaccination clinics twice a year, education to the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets, and education on proper care of your pets. We also have a cruelty investigator to serve Lehigh County. Any cruelty complaints made are investigated and any action deemed necessary will be initiated.

Lifesavers is a small, family run rescue specializing in smaller dogs and puppies. We are not government funded so all adoption fees go toward medical expenses and care. We bring the dogs into our home and treat them like one of the family. Our children and our own pets are a huge part of assessing the temperament of the animals. We require a reference and an application for every pet.

The Lyons Den Rescue commits itself to finding safe, loving homes for those animals that are in the shelter system. We will provide companions that are healthy and compatible for those persons meeting the requirements set forth in our adoption agreement. In order to address the pet overpopulation problem the Lyons Den Rescue also commits to having all animals spayed or neutered before placement unless a spay/neuter contract is in place (only for puppies too young to have a spay/neuter). Also, the Lyons Den Rescue will provide educational materials to the community at large to make persons aware of this problem.
