Broken Arrow Animal ShelterWe are a municipal run shelter. We are a division of the Police Department. WE ARE NOT NO-KILL. Most of our animals are picked up running the streets, getting into trash, causing accidents, viciously charging people, etc. Some are turned in to the shelter because their owner's either no longer want them or they simply can't care for them anymore. Although we are a rather small shelter, we do our best in saving as many as possible. We do work with several rescue groups that pull adoptable animals that were not adopted in the allotted time frame in which we hold them. Strays are held for 5 working days to give the owner a chance to reclaim them. After that, we reserve the right to place them up for adoption, allow them to go to a rescue, or euthanize them.Owner surrenders are available immediately for adoption, rescue, or euthanization. Our animals are given the best possible chance to get seen and get adopted or reclaimed. Rainbow Bridge Can Wait Animal Rescue and AdoptionWe are a small no-kill rescue working towards educating the public about Spay and Neuter we also want to educate our community as well as the surronding communitys about humane treatment of these wonderful companions. Your adoption fees go to the care of the dogs, with them another life can be saved. Sadly Oklahoma has a 95% kill rate. Our local pound does not kill to make room they destroy the animals after 3 days, if the owner does not claim them or they are not adopted. They will not hold the dogs for me if my shelter is full, so I can pull them into rescue! Please if you are not interested in those on death row look at our adoptable pets, maybe you can make room by adopting one of our other companions. Cimmaron Valley Humane SocietyWE ARE A NO KILL SHELTER! BUT EACH MONTH WE HAVE TO TURN DOWN AROUND 50 DOGS OR CATS BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE SPACE FOR THEM. PLEASE HELP US ! SPAY AND NEUTER, ADOPT, FOSTER, AND DO ALL YOU CAN FOR THE ANIMALS THAT CAN'T DO FOR THEMSELVES! We are a newly formed shelter with lots of learning to do. We don't actually have a shelter building, we are a network of homes trying to help our furry friends. Donations appreciated! We don't charge for the daily feeding and care of the dogs & cats, we just want to help them find forever homes and loving owners. We do charge a small fee for neutering or spaying the dogs & cats (our cost). Also our cost for getting them heart worm or feline virus checked and all shots up to date. We do not adopt animals without spaying or neutering them first.
