We function as the Humane Society in Saunders County. We work closely with law enforcement to get strays back home when they are found. When original homes can't be found then we look for new homes if they are adoptable animals.

Our purpose is to rescue abandoned, neglected and/or injured animals and return them to their home or find them a new responsible home. Volunteers are always appreciated! We need foster homes for puppies and pregnant dogs and cats. Volunteers can also exercise, clean, and feed the animals at our facility. Volunteers under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We rely entirely on donations to care for our animals. Tax-deductible donations can be mailed to our address. Please call if you wish to make a non-monetary donation
