Our mission is to provide a safe haven for unwanted felines and canines until they are adopted into loving homes. Charlotte Cocker Rescue of NCCharlotte Cocker Rescue was started in 2001 by Larry and Donna Carpenter. Our rescue mission is helping homeless cocker spaniels from North Carolina shelters, sometimes strays and owner give ups. Our focus is mostly shelter animals as they only have limited time to either get adopted, reclaimed by owners or rescued by rescue groups such as ours. We began our dream in 2001 after taking in our Charlie from WV and adopting our Sam from MD. We were shocked how many homeless cocker spaniels there were in shelters. We are searching for volunteers, foster homes, who will be dedicated to our rescue mission. Our vet is Cabarrus Animal Hospital for which we have been a loyal client since 1991 and they have the best vets on duty there.
