Pet's Second Chance is a registered 501 c3 non-profit organization located in St. Louis, Missouri. Our dedication is to the many Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis or Corgi mixes who have been abandoned by their owners due to divorce, moving, birth of children, and the many other reasons that families may no longer be able to keep their Corgi. We will accept all Corgis regardless of age or physical condition. Many of our Corgis do come from shelters.

The St. Louis Senior Dog Project is a not-for-profit 501c3 corporation. Our mission is to rescue the not-so-young homeless dogs that are often overlooked at most animal shelters. We have shown that people will adopt and love older dogs. We look for dogs that are usually 5 years and older although we also take younger dogs , and the occasional puppy or cat. We frequently place our pets with senior citizens although being a senior is not a requirement for adopting our dogs.

We are a ridiculously joyful rescue that deals almost exclusively with puppymill and breeder rejects. The "flaw" is usually that the adults are no longer profitable in the number of pups they produce, or the pups are broker rejects. Sometimes the flaws are very apparent, sometimes they are as slight as a cut on the edge of an ear or a tail too short. The majority of Flawdogs live here, but two wonderful neighboring families now foster their own batches of hooligans, also. There are different phone numbers for different dogs because we believe you should talk to the person living with the dog.....that way you get the most accurate information we can give...firsthand.
