IMPACT for Animals was created in 1995 to meet the ever-increasing needs of homeless or soon to be homeless cats & dogs in the St. Louis area. We also strive to meet the medical and psychological needs of animals who have suffered abuse or neglect by negligent owners. All of our rescued animals receive appropriate veterinarian care. Spays/Neuters are an important component of our program.

The Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, Inc. (IMPS) was formed in July of 1998 with the adoption of Lister through the Miniature Pinscher e-mail group at saluki.org. For information on the Miniature Pinscher e-mail list, please visit the "Minpin List" Page. The IMPS mission is to improve the lives of homeless and abandoned Miniature Pinschers through rescue and the love and respect that comes with humane care, compassion and kindness. The Joplin Humane Society is a non-profit organization whose goal is to help protect the welfare of animals. We pursue this goal through educational programs to teach children and adults how to be responsible pet owners, as well as caring for many lost and abandoned pets, providing many new homes through adoptions. We also aid local and state law enforcement officials in animal cruelty investigations. We serve Jasper and Newton Counties and many of the communities within them, including Joplin, Alba, Carterville, Duenweg, Webb City, Saginaw and Carl Junction.

KCDR is a not-for-profit organization of volunteers who rescue Dobermans. Our dogs come from shelters, owners who no longer can or will provide for them and, all too often, strays that are never searched for. We evaluate the dogs' health and temperament and place the dogs with new adoptive families.
