St. Francis Rescue, Inc.St. Francis Rescue, Inc. is a Georgia State Licensed Shelter, established in 2001 to assist in rehabilitating and rehoming the large number of abandoned collies in Georgia. We are a small network of volunteers. We depend on adoption fees and donations to continue to operate. When space permits, we also take in collies from Alabama, Florida and Tennessee. We are located on the north side of Atlanta, Georgia. The majority of our rescue collies require homes with fenced yards for exercise. All dogs listed on this site are indoor dogs. All are altered prior to adoption, have their teeth cleaned, if necessary, are heartworm and fecal negative, are vaccinated, treated for fleas and groomed.
