R U F FR.U.F.F is a group we formed after meeting all the wonderful dogs and puppies we have taken in and saved from being Put to Sleep... We started out as a Breed Rescue only taking in Pitbulls and Bully type breeds... Now we rescue all breeds but still Specialize in Bully Type Breeds. We pull mainly only from High Kill shelters in Areas of Florida that need the most help. Putnam County is the 2nd poorest County in Florida. For the past few years I have focused my rescue on this area and Levy County.. We have made a tremendous difference in getting other rescues involved and saving lives.. but that is just a start we need to educate on the awareness of Spay/Neuter and animal abuse in this area. HELP US HELP THEM! RUFF Welcomes Gilcrest County into our Hearts. I made a visit to this shelter recently... It is THE worst Shelter I have ever seen... With the Help of the community and Animal lovers such as yourself RUFF is ready to take on the task of helping improve this shelter and the lives of the animals of Gilcrest County.
