We primarily rescue animals that are on death row at local Animal Control agencies to save the lives of the animals. Unfortunately, traditional local shelters are forced to use euthanasia regardless of age or health, as a means to control "overpopulation" of "unwanted" animals. The purpose of our organization is to save discarded companion pets' lives and find new homes for them. We do NOT ship or adopt our pets to homes outside of the state of Florida.

We are a small newly formed rescue with very limited space and in need of fosters. 501c3 cert pending approval. It is the purpose of the A.R.F. shack to rescue dogs in need of loving homes. In addition it is our goal to promote a supportive and strong alliance with other animal rights and rescue groups. We aim to work together to support legislation that protects animal rights and that enforces penalties on those that mistreat animals. We encourage all individuals to spay and neuter their pets and to avoid any support of breeders or organizations that do not act in the best interest of the animals they profit from.

bandoned Pet Rescue (APR) founded in 1996, is a 501 ( c ) (3) IRS tax-exempt, qualified charitable organization that rescues and shelters abandoned, abused, and neglected pets, rehabilitates them and finds them new homes. APR is one of the largest no kill animal shelters in South Florida, where volunteers perform the duties of running the shelter operations on a day to day basis. APR is devoted to the welfare of all animals. Most of the over 500 animals are Cats, Dogs, Bunnies, Birds, Parrots, Guinea Pigs, Hamsters, Mice, Rats, Iguanas, and other animals in need of help. While pet over population is declining throughout the country, the number of animals brought to South Florida shelters is increasing. APR's primary goal is to assemble a no-kill community. This is quite a daunting task, nonetheless, APR is making a valuable contribution to the animal community and will continue to do so as long as support is provided from generous donors.

Adopt A Rescued Pet is a new group founded by dedicated, experienced and caring volunteers. Our animals primarily come to us from public animal shelters where they are at risk for euthanasia. Pets are cared for by volunteer foster moms and dads in private homes. This provides an opportunity to evaluate the individual animal's health, temperment and needs. We screen potential adoptive families so that we can help them find an animal that will fit with their lifestyle and preferences. Our goal is to provide previously unwanted animals with a stable home and love for a lifetime.

Adopt A Stray is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in South Florida, founded by a small group of experienced volunteers. Since we do not yet have a shelter we operate as a foster care program, working to deal with the stray overpopulation by taking unwanted and unloved dogs and cats off the streets. Our foster homes provide temporary safe refuge until they are placed in a permanent loving home. Adopt A Stray relies exclusively on private donations to provide food and medical care, including the spay/neuter of adoptable pets and feral cats. There are no administration fees or professional fund-raisers to pay. 100% of all donations go directly to the care of our animals
