We want to prevent pet over-population and the killing of homeless pets that end up in our County shelters. We will educate the community about the benefits of spaying/neutering, so there?s a better understanding as to why it is so important, not only for the health benefit of the pet, but for the pet owner and for our community

For 53 years we have maintained a non-profit shelter funded entirely by donations. Most of the animals in our shelter are owner surrenders. Of the animals put up for adoption, almost 100% find new homes either through the shelter adoption facilities or through our off-site adoption facilities at PetsMart.

Little Red Dog Rescue was started in memory of our late little red dachshund, Skippy. Our mission is to assist with the placement of loving companion animals, who were previously placed in high-kill facilities. Our job is to provide any needed medical treatment, including vaccinations, and spay or neuter. Once the dog is ready for adoption, our goal is to find him or her a loving home. Will you please help us in our efforts by adopting a new friend?
