We opened in 2002 to help the pets that are often considered "disposable" in today's society. These pets; rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, hamsters, mice, rats, reptiles, turtles, birds, hedgehogs, ferrets, chinchillas, sugar gliders, degus, etc. have as much of a right to a second chance as do all the cats and dogs out there. **any dogs or cats listed on our site are strays we have personally found and are trying to find homes for**

Dalmatian Rescue of Delaware, Inc. is a small group of people living in the state of Delaware who love Dalmatians and want to help them in any way we can. We are completely non-profit, and considered a charitible organization. Our main goal of course is to rescue mainly Dalmatians from shelters and abuse/abandonment situations and find them loving permanent homes where they will never be unwanted again. We do on occasion take in other breeds, as we are also a deaf dog rescue, helping deaf dogs of all breeds if we can. We foster them into our homes until a suitable home can be found
