Wing and a Prayer Rescue is a small independent rescue, 501c(3) status pending, comprised of a few individuals who take dogs from high kill shelters or special needs dogs and place them in loving permanent homes. Since it's inception in the summer of 2003 over 250 dogs have been rescued and rehomed. As the number of dogs saved is directly proportionate to the number of foster homes we have, foster homes are always being sought out. Wing and a Prayer pays for food and any medical expenses incurred. If you'd like to share your home with a deserving dog in route to it's forever home please email Nola at stewball3@comcast.net or call 707-874-1312. You won't be sorry!

A Leg Up Rescue is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to rescuing small dogs from life-threatening situations. All of our dogs were either in danger of being euthanized in animal shelters, neglected or abused, or taken from the public (when space permits) so they are not bounced around to different homes or collected and sold to research labs by "bunchers."

Friends for Life Animal Rescue attempts to provide a bridge for animals from homelessness or abandonment to their forever homes. As we do not have a shelter, we cannot take in large numbers of animals. Our programs seek to serve the community by assisting individuals in finding new homes for animals they can no longer care for, stopping the births of unwanted animals and providing off site adoption events where our foster animals and animals belonging to private individuals are available to meet and greet potential adopters. Our foster programs provide loving homes for animals with wonderful foster people who work with the dogs or cats to provide socialization and rehabilitation as necessary while we search for great placements. We work with local shelters and other rescue groups whenever possible, always focusing on what is best for the animals.
