California Animal Shelter Friends, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c3) group. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of animals in animal shelters and reduce euthanasia rates of animal shelter animals through increased adoptions and decreased surrender rates (through encouraging spaying and neutering).

Camp Winnie and Pooh is a haven for neglected, abused, and homeless dachshunds. All dogs come from a situation that put them at risk of being destroyed because of either their humans behavior or their own behavior. The majority of the dachshunds rescued by Camp Winnie and Pooh are "special needs" dachshunds. Our goal is to match dachshunds with homes that fit their needs
