We are a small group of independent rescuers who take into our homes what we can when we can. We may not have many pets all the time that are listed but if we don't have what you're looking for, chances are we can find it! We even have volunteer "scouts" that visit the shelters daily to find a pet in need that fits the description of what you're looking for!

We are a family run business. We rescue small dogs and rodents from the shelters in your communities. All dogs are up to date on shots, vet-checked and spayed or neutered prior to going to their new home. We also assist with re-homing small dogs that are turned in from their owners. All dogs have an adoption fee and application process.

The NW SPCA does provide Animal Control for the City of Oroville. It is our goal to keep animals from going to a regular "dog pound" and being destroyed after five days. After the animals time is up, we kick in as the NW SPCA and extend their time as long as we can so we can get them a home.
The contract we have with the city is so we as the NW SPCA can pick up those unwanted strays to give them a longer chance to get a home. We also pickup the lost pets and give them a better chance of getting back to their owners.
