We are a small, home-based rescue organization in Kelseyville, Ca. Kelseyville is located in Lake County, approximately 2 hours north of San Francisco, and one hour north of Santa Rosa and the Napa Valley. Our organization's mission is to reduce the number of animals being euthanized at Lake County Animal Care and Control in Lakeport, Ca. Because we are a home-based rescue, our cats/kittens and puppies are highly socialized. They receive a ton of love and attention every day making them wonderful potential pets. They are raised with other cats, dogs, and children.

Welcome to PROUD (Pet Rescue of Unwanted Dogs)! PROUD was founded in 1997, to help make a difference for homeless dogs in Central Valley shelters that were dying by the hundreds -EVERY DAY- *ONLY * because they did not have homes. With heavy hearts we know that we cannot save every dog, but we can make a difference for some of them. The goal to save great dogs and place them in great homes is what we work for everyday.

The Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of Golden Retrievers in need in southern California. Our dogs are rescued from shelters and acquired from owners who can no longer care for them, or who no longer care to keep them. All our dogs are health-checked, vaccinated, neutered and provided with any other needed medical care. Each of our dogs is evaluated for temperament to determine the best possible placement. The GRCGLA Rescue is a strictly volunteer organization. Help is needed all over southern California in the form of volunteers and foster homes. WKODIT (What Kind of Dog is That?!) is a rescue focusing on mixed breed dogs whose time has run out at kill-shelters.
