Animal Aid for Vermilion AreaWe are a non-profit organization that has been in existance for about 14 years. We do not adopt outside of our area, which means we would like to keep adoptions in the Acadiana area. We do not have a shelter open to the public. We take in animals that have been abandoned and/or abused. In fact, most of our animals have been through some sort of abuse and we have worked hard to rehabilitate them to be ready for adoption. We are a very small group of volunteers and we all have animals that we are fostering at our homes. Roberts RescueRoberts Rescue is a small nonprofit group of volunteers dedicated to finding forever homes for the unwanted animals of Maryland. We all have our own full time jobs and families, not to mention our own dogs and cats! We dedicate our spare time to helping these pets in need. Most of our animals come from shelters or are found wandering the streets of Baltimore. When space and funds allow we do accept owner surrenders into our program. We do not rescue specific breeds but we lend a helping hand to all needy animals when we can. However we do specialize in Bully Breeds (English Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, American Bulldogs, Boxers, etc.) therefore we also work with Ethical Bull Breed Rescue and Referral, Inc. (EBBRR) to help place Bully Breeds from across the country. EBBRR is a large network of volunteers dedicated to saving homeless Bullies from all over the USA. H.A.R.T. (Homeless Animal Rescue Team) of WisconsinWe are a dog rescue organization working together in Western Wisconsin to make a difference in the lives of homeless animals by saving one life at a time. All pets are Spayed/Neutered and current on vaccinations prior to placement. We are all volunteers with no paid staff and very little funding. We always strive to do our very best to help homeless animals. We are a FOSTER based rescue group, which means the pets in our care reside in the homes of our volunteers and not a shelter. Our common goal is to build a multi-species Humane Shelter.
