Heart Bandits is a nonprofit federally tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization with chapters across the USA and Canada. Our Chapter Directors, Foster Homes, Officers, and Trustees are all volunteers. We are not shelters with visiting hours. Our rescue efforts are managed out of our own homes. Expenses are funded through our Membership, adoption fees, and donations.

Animal Friends Rescue Project (AFRP) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization based in Pacific Grove, California. We were founded in June 1998 by four individuals who were passionate about making a difference to companion animal overpopulation.
