The Mutt Squad is a not-for-profit dog rescue that started many years ago as dream. A dream that stemmed from a love for animals and a desire to make a difference. Our dogs come from the many local shelters around the Los Angeles area. Before being adopted to their new families. We make sure that they are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, current on vaccinations and vet checked.

Save the Dalmatians was founded in 1996 to provide resources for Dalmatian rescue in the wake of Disneys 1996 101 Dalmatians movie which set off massive over-breeding of Dalmatians by backyard breeders. Save the Dalmatians became incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in 1998. We are an all-volunteer organization that rescues Dalmatians from Southern California shelters to find them new homes, assists owners in rehoming their unwanted Dalmatians, promotes the spaying and neutering of pet Dalmatians and provides information to the public about the Dalmatian breed. We hope to add to our program other breeds impacted by the media.
