St Martin de Porres' Help for Handicapped & Homeless Hounds“St. Martin’s� was formed in 2003 to help meet the needs of the neediest dogs in the world of rescue – the handicapped and homeless. The dogs are all provided with veterinary care and loving homes, either permanent or foster. In addition, the dogs are provided with any necessary rehabilitation and physical therapy. “St. Martin’s� also provides medical care to animals belonging to the poor and the elderly in the community, who otherwise would not receive any medical care at all. Adopt A StrayAdopt A Stray is an all volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in South Florida, founded by a small group of experienced volunteers. Since we do not yet have a shelter we operate as a foster care program, working to deal with the stray overpopulation by taking unwanted and unloved dogs and cats off the streets. Our foster homes provide temporary safe refuge until they are placed in a permanent loving home. Doggone DogsDoggone Dogs of S. Florida is a no kill, non profit 501c3 dog rescue. Originally a Sheltie rescue, we quickly expanded to include all dogs, no matter their breed, size or even infirmity. Large, small, young, old, deaf, blind, if they were unwanted or unloved, they were welcome. It was only a matter of time before we expanded even more to include cats and kittens. As a non profit organization, our animals rely heavily on the wonderful people who donate their time to help us run our rescue.
