Paws and More Animal RescuePaws And More Animal Rescue is dedicated to Jessie. Jessie was the type of dog most people dream of having, perfect if you will. When she passed I felt very empty and began visiting local shelters and saw the devastating mess that careless people were leaving behind when they got tired of there companions or found it to difficult to spay and neuter. I adopted a very pitiful Dalmatian and nursed her back to health. I then began trying to find a rescue that would place her only to find out that all the rescues were full with dogs that were or had been throuth the same as this poor dalmatian. Which is what inspired me to begin taking in dogs of my own to adopt out. So now, like the rest, I have filled my house with unwanted companions who are looking for forever homes. We are a completely not for profit rescue that is currently run only by family. The rescue exists only on personal income. All adoptoin fee's are used for the needs of the animals. We strive to place unwanted or neglected animals into loving forever homes. Most of our adoptable pets are dogs rescued from kill shelters but we also provide a safehaven for farm animals until they also can find their forever homes. Adopt-A-Dog Inc.Adopt-A-Dog, Inc. is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization which places unwanted dogs in homes throughout Indiana and Ohio where they can live long, happy lives with a family to care for them rather than live out their remaining days at the Union County Dog Shelter where they will be euthenized. Our organization is devoted to finding homes for dogs with responsible families. The Union County shelter is very small and only able to accommodate seven animals at a time. We post both the dogs at the shelter, as well as those dogs we have in foster homes here on the website.
