Tri State Corgi Rescue concentrates on rescuing Corgis and Corgi-mixes. We don't have a shelter; we are individuals located in Ohio and WV working together to rehome Corgis whether they are turned in by their owners or rescued from a shelter. Until we can match them with their forever homes, our dogs live with us or in foster homes where we get to know them. All of our dogs are vet-checked and altered before placement

The Preston County Animal Shelter is a municipal animal control facility located in Kingwood, in northcentral West Virginia.
We are the only animal control facility in a large, rural county. Space is limited and intake is high, so pets often do not remain very long. We are not a no-kill shelter, and our adoption rate is approximately 40%, with puppies and toy breed adult dogs having the highest adoption rate, adult dogs over 15 lbs., cats, and kittens having the lowest. If you are seriously interested in a pet listed here, please contact us as soon as possible.
