Spay and Save is a nonprofit organization, classified under Section 501(c)(3) by the IRS. We are volunteers dedicated to animals and the people who help animals. We have been in operation since 1981, and serve Philadelphia and the five county area. We provide low cost neuter/spay certificates to those in need. We also provide help to elderly or handicapped people who are unable to help their own pets, offering transportation to the vet and furnishing food from our food bank. We also place many abandoned dogs and cats. Our volunteers are constantly working to place animals in adoptive loving homes through advertising and word of mouth. Our program even extends to the remote areas of Chester and Bucks County horsebarns. We deliver and acclimate barn cats who are welcome and wanted for rodent control.

We consist of experienced and concerned Siberian Husky owners and trainers who "foster" dogs given up by their owners or abandoned in animal shelters. Dogs placed into our care come into our homes where we can evaluate the personality and temperament of each dog and provide emotional and medical needs.

Willing Hearts Dal Rescue, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. We are small group of volunteers who bonded through the internet because of their common love of the Dalmatian breed. It is our mission to rescue dals who have been abandoned, abused, and those in shelters facing death. We take dals into our homes and foster them while we evaluate them for temperament while teaching them to love and trust again, and give them all the medical care they need including spay and neuter. Presently we are so overloaded that we have had to kennel a few as we have no foster homes available.

We are an all volunteer rescue in the process of applying for nonprofit status. Almost Home was created out of a desire to honor Ruey, a rescued Neapolitan Mastiff, who provided years of unsurpassed joy, companionship, and love. While Ruey will be forever missed, AHAS can provide homes for pets like Ruey, who need help finding their special forever home. Thus, Almost Home was born out of our deep love of animals. Rescuing animals is our passion. We believe that both pet and adoptive home can blossom when the right match is made. We strive to heal hearts by spreading love to two footed and four footed creatures alike. We love each animal that passes through our doors and provide an Almost Home, until they go to their forever home.

We are ALWAYS looking for FOSTER homes. Somewhere that a small scared dog can rest up after being in a shelter until it can go to its forever home. Yes, it takes a special person to be able to take in a dog, especially an older dog, but the alternative is that they have NO home to stay in. It is unthinkable to us to let a little Yorkie stay in a shelter for a moment longer than necessary when there are good families who are waiting for a Yorkie. If you think that you would like to learn about becoming a good foster home, please click here FOSTER and fill out an application. Fostering is the best thing you can do for a Yorkie. Be someone special.
