Animal Rescue Resource Center is a non-profit way station for rescued cats and dogs awaiting adoption into loving and responsible homes. We rarely accept animals from the public, preferring to keep our limited spaces available to other rescue groups who are saving as many as they are able to from the pound and need a short term holding kennel until they can arrange transport. A pre-adoption phone interview at your first call will determine if we have a suitable animal for your family. If so, we will give you directions to the ARRC.

Animal Rescue Service is a non-profit organization working to end the suffering of homeless animals and helping to bring about a time when there will be no more homeless animals. Our work of love is made possible through the kindness and generosity of people like you who love and respect our fellow creatures. These once sad little faces come from far and wide, but once they're here, Animal Rescue Service makes sure that their bad luck turns to good luck, and that they will never again be hungry, sick ,alone or in pain. Most of the animals soon go to carefully selected homes with loving families, like yours, others are trained for assistance or service work. We are a small part of the steadily growing no-kill movement.

We rescue adoptable animals from overcrowded shelters where they are likely to be euthanized, and take in adoptable strays from the streets. We do not have a physical shelter with established hours; the rescued animals are kept at volunteer foster homes until they find their "forever" homes. This is much less stressful for the animals, because they can become part of a family rather than being isolated in a crate.
