We care and house all the stray pets for Piatt County and some animal control organizations for some towns in Piatt County. Animal House RescueAnimal House Rescue, Inc. was founded in April of 2002 by Jody Goins and Nancy Romanczuk. Jody and Nancy met in 2000 when they were both volunteers at the Fulton County Humane Society. When the Humane Society decided it would no longer accept animals, they could not simply sit back and do nothing. Jody and Nancy were the ones who would get the pictures of dogs and cats on euthanasia lists all across Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. So, that's when they decided to branch out and form Animal House Rescue.Animal House Rescue is a non profit rescue organization with 501c3 status. Animal Humane Association of Star ValleyRight now, we are a group of volunteers, working out of our homes trying to help the local community care for it's pets. We have a good spay/neuter program in operation that financially assists some pet owners with veterinary expenses. Our adoption program is based on networking, being that we do not have a shelter. We have several volunteers that have a revolving doors continually fostering and placing pets. When an animal comes into our care, we have it spayed or neutered and throroughly examined by one of our local veterinarians at which time, it will receive the recommended shots.
