The Humane Society of Sonoma County, founded in 1931, is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that serves animals and people throughout Sonoma County. Donations from individuals, businesses and foundations who share our commitment to the animals and to the quality of life in our community make our services and programs possible. Every dollar given goes to work for the animals and people right here in Sonoma County. Without your donations we would be unable to fund the programs so vital to our mission of providing quality care and a safe haven for our companion animals, finding each animal a loving home and providing education and outreach to better the lives of people and their pets.

We are a community-based volunteer organization working to make the lives of animals in Southeast Arkansas better. We have a variety of goals. First, we investigate complaints of animal abuse in the area. Second, we try to find loving homes for abused and abandoned animals in our community. Third, we work toward raising awareness in the community regarding animal welfare. And last but not least, fourth, thanks to a generous grant from the DJ & T Foundation, we are able to help the community in spaying and neutering pets.
