Churubusco Shelter is located in Churubusco, NY. It is a small municipal kennel located within the Highway Dept. garage. The dogs that can be found there are ones that have been picked up by animal control. This shelter has three options for its animals- reissue, adopt or euthanize. Currently most animals offered by Hearts Path Rescue are at foster homes or rescuers homes. A few animals remain at thier current owners homes and are trying to be placed for the animals benefit. We do not have a shelter facility so I am unable to accomodate all that need placement at this time nor do we have a budget

WE ARE A NO KILL SHELTER! BUT EACH MONTH WE HAVE TO TURN DOWN AROUND 50 DOGS OR CATS BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE SPACE FOR THEM. PLEASE HELP US ! SPAY AND NEUTER, ADOPT, FOSTER, AND DO ALL YOU CAN FOR THE ANIMALS THAT CAN'T DO FOR THEMSELVES!
We are a newly formed shelter with lots of learning to do. We don't actually have a shelter building, we are a network of homes trying to help our furry friends. Donations appreciated! We don't charge for the daily feeding and care of the dogs & cats, we just want to help them find forever homes and loving owners. We do charge a small fee for neutering or spaying the dogs & cats (our cost). Also our cost for getting them heart worm or feline virus checked and all shots up to date. We do not adopt animals without spaying or neutering them first. If the world were a perfect place all animals would have loving homes and no one would have to open animal shelters!

Circle Tail, Inc. was established in 1997 to provide quality assistance dogs to people with mobility, hearing, neurological, and emotional needs to increase independence, and to provide a better quality of life for abused and unwanted domestic and farm animals at our sanctuary and through adoption. Circle Tail receives our dogs through donations; we do not have our own breeding program. Since millions of dogs are euthanized each year, careful selection of puppies and young adults from unwanted litters and humane shelters not only helps a disabled person, but also provides purpose to an unwanted dog's life.
