If you are not familiar with ETOSHA, we are an all-breed no-kill shelter first organized in 1988 in South Texas. We began as a sanctuary for Great Danes, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Mastiffs and a variety of unwanted hunting dogs. Our main facility is currently located on five acres outside the city limits of Seguin, with eight foster homes located in nearby counties. We are one of the largest no-kill shelters in Texas, and while we are best known for Hounds and Great Danes, we rescue many other breeds as well as mixed breeds

Ratbone Rescues is a national rescue group based out of Florida. We are dedicated to helping Rat Terriers needing new homes because of homelessness, abandonment, neglect/abuse, or illness/injury. After being brought into our fosterhome network, rescued dogs receive thorough veterinary care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, microchip, plus any special needs) and plenty of TLC while we work to find new, loving, permanent homes. This Petfinder site profiles Ratbone's South Central Region dogs, which are living in fosterhomes in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma & Texas.(Note that the Mount Pleasant, Texas, address is for administration only; the dogs are not actually located in Mount Pleasant.)

Our rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping abandoned, stray, abused and surrendered Siberian Huskies, vetting them as necessary, finding them good homes and educating the new owners on how to handle the wonderful bundle of fur they have adopted. When possible, volunteers, approved to foster, take the rescue dogs into their homes. If this is not possible, the rescue works with individuals and shelters to find qualified adopters to refer to them. Other rescue endeavors include charitable donations to injured or sick Siberian Huskies in need of assistance and the offer of our services with the care and placement of such dogs. Any, and all, donations we receive benefit the Siberian Huskies within the program exclusively. The rescue was created in December of 1999 to battle for the needs of abused and unwanted Siberian Huskies across the state of Florida. We have the cooperation of many organizations like area Animal Controls, Humane Societies and individual Pet Lovers like yourself.
