The West Coast Spay and Neuter Society — SANS — is a volunteer-run registered charity established in 1990. We are guided by two principals: all life is valuable, and we are responsible for improving the quality of life for all those in our care. We make no judgement on whose life is worth rescuing and whose life is not. The sick, elderly and homely are as precious to us as the healthy, young and attractive. We rescue, shelter and nurture animals, and we are a no-kill shelter. Charitable Registration No: BN136121795RR0001

The goal of AireCanada is not only to care for the dogs that need us most,
but also to help educate the public about the breed.
Breed traits and characteristics of the Airedale don't suit everyone, so part of our job is
to ensure a potential home is fully aware of the character of the dog they wish to adopt.

We area branch of the BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BC SPCA) and serve the Surrey area. In fact, we are one of the busiest shelters in BC! To keep up with demand, we have a dedicated staff and a very active volunteer program. Our goal is to find forever homes for every adoptable animal that comes through our door. We also have a mandatory spay/neuter program, ensuring that all the animals that come into our care do not contribute further to the pet overpopulation problem. We always have plenty of pets looking or homes, and we may have one that's just perfect for you!
