Ann and Pete's Foster Home for Animal AllianceAnn & Pete's Foster Home for Dogs is located in Pottageville, just North of Toronto, Ontario(Click Here for details) . We foster animals that are brought to us through Animal Alliance's Project Jessie Program. We rescue dogs from local pounds that are in danger of being sold for research. Knowing your local pound sells animals for research may come as a shock to you, but this is quite a common practice. Last year, we found homes for 240 dogs. We are strictly volunteers and receive no financial gains for our work. Paws to Love Animal RescuePaws to Love Animal Rescue is a creation of Cheryl Lintzeris. Her dream has been to work with rescuing dogs, and to eventually open a shelter and sanctuary for many types of animals... not just dogs. As a stepping stone to this dream, Cheryl has created a wonderful business of caring for pets that do have homes. Holiday Pet Care is a dog daycare centre as well as a cageless boarding operation. They also do dog-walking, and pet-sitting.
