1.) Maintain a sanatary and disease-free shelter to improve the quality of life for sheltered animals.2.) Preserve a safe community enviroment by securing stray/abandon animals.3.) Decrease stray/abandon animal population by ensuring prospective adoptive pet is appropriate for customer.4.) Coordinate with veterinary clinics for education of the public in regards to rabbies vaccination, spaying, neutering, and proper care of ill or injured animals.5.) Heighten public awareness for proper pet care/safety and importance of spaying/neutering.6.) Increase publlic awareness of city orinance requirements reguarding pet control, ownership licensing, and registration.
