Floyd County Animal Control Mission Statement. Our mission is to promote animal welfare through education, stressing owner responsibility. With the cooperation of local rescue agencies, we will endeavor to adopt all animals to good homes while keeping with State Law, which requires rabies vaccinations and spay/neuter. As public servants we will strive to equitably enforce and educate the citizens of Rome and Floyd County as to the regulations relating to domestic animal care and treatment. Winner of the NACA 2005 "Outstanding Animal Control Agency"

We are a Local, Non-Profit, All-volunteer Organizaton Offering Spay/Neuter Assistance, Emergency Assitance to animal in need, Educational Programs, and Pet Adoptions "Our Mission Statement" "To emphasize spaying and neutering to prevent unwanted animals; To educate the community on being responsible pet owners; To increase pet adoptions; To have finanical assistance available for the health and welfare of animals."
