Larimer Humane SocietyThe Larimer Humane Society is an open-door shelter. Unlike no-kill facilities, we offer care to every animal in need. In order to be a no-kill shelter we would have to limit the number and types of animals we accept. We don’t turn any animal away and last year, the Humane Society sheltered over 9000 domestic animals and over 2500 wild animals, and the Animal Protection and Control Department answered over 20,000 calls.
