Wood Green Animal Shelters are a charitable organisation that take in and rehome over 6,000 animals a year. In addition to dogs and cats the Shelter also cares for small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs and field animals including horses and sheep. At the Godmanchester Shelter there are plenty of things to see apart from the animals such as a Garden of Remembrance and a beautiful water garden, the Godmanchester Shelter provides a great day out for all of the family. Events are held most weekends and the facilities available for hire include an Olympic size arena and a fully operational restaurant.
