Second Chance Rescue is a non-profit organization formed to promote the rescue, foster, and placement of homeless companion animals into permanent, loving homes. At this time, we rescue primarily from a local animal shelter in Dayton, Ohio. We pull dogs, puppies, cats and kittens that we feel have tremendous adoption potential, but that won't make it up for general adoption at the shelter for any number of reasons, including space, age, and medical issues. We are committed to each and every animal taken into our program, and we make every effort to ensure placements are the best for both the adopter and the pet!

Robin's Nest is a non-profit private rescue group that is located in Miamisburg, Ohio. We are one family trying to make a difference in the lives of animals, one animal at a time. Our primary mission is to rescue, care for and find loving homes for animals in need. We are not a shelter. All animals are kept in our home where they are loved and socialized until adopted by a compatible family. Animals are evaluated for temperment, compatibility with other animals and compatibility with children to determine the type of home they need.

Miami County (of Ohio) Humane Society (MCHS) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization that is interested in the welfare of the animals in our community. Our Union Township Feral (wild) Cat Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) Program (which includes the communities of West Milton, Potsdam, Laura and Ludlow Falls, OH) has rescued some socialized stray cats and kittens. These cats and kittens are being fostered in our volunteer homes and are up for adoption. We also trap and neuter feral cats, which are then returned under the care of a colony manager
