Furry Country Club Inn is funded entirely by donations and run by the hearts of our staff & volunteers who are dedicated to placing homeless/in need of home dogs from shelters/individuals/Mills in the U.S.A. and finding them permanent homes. We take in dogs regardless of age, and/or medical condition. We currently are in the process of building our facility where they can be fostered until they find their new loving, responsible, lifelong homes. Until then they are being fostered by volunteers. All of our rescued dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchiped, and all known medical conditions are addressed and/or treated as appropriate before placement in a permanent home. We are a group of volunteers and a nonprofit organization. We rescue pets from Mason County Animal Control (231-843-8644) that would otherwise be euthanized. The pets are held at Animal Control for 4-7 days, giving the owner the opportunity to reclaim them.

The SPCA is located in Muskegon County. The shelter regularly houses 100+ adult cats and kittens that are available for adoption. Donations, both monetary and supplies are tax deductible as allowed by law and are always appreciated.
We are a TAOS (The Association of Sanctuaries) accredited sanctuary and provides a permanent home to both native and exotic wild animals that have been abused, neglected, or orphaned and cannot be returned to the wild. The shelter currently is home to numerous wolf dogs, goats, horses, kinkajous, prairie dogs, African servals, chaussie cats, coatimundis, black bears, a miniature donkey, steer, and a sugar glider. The wolf dogs are permanent residents at the sanctuary. They came to the sanctuary for many reasons and from many states including California, Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan. We do not breed our animals.
