Second Chance Animal Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to retrieving adoptable cats and dogs from local animal shelters and finding them loving homes. Every year thousands of cats and dogs are euthanized in animal shelters across the country due to pet overpopulation, limited resources and irresponsible pet owners. Many of these cats and dogs end up in these shelters because they are no longer the small, cute kittens or puppies they brought home, but adult cats and dogs. Others are strays who's owners never claimed them or a neglected pet who has developed a behavior that requires the owner spend a little time with it. We believe these animals who have loved their owners unconditionally deserve a second chance. If you are planning on adopting a companion pet consider one of our shelter cats or dogs. Also, check your local shelters where you'll find many lovable and adoptable cats and dogs

Project Purr is a 501(c)3 nonprofit all volunteer organization dedicated to feral cats and kittens. Our goal is to decrease the feral cat overpopulation by funding our low cost spay/neuter feral cat program for the past 18 years at Adobe Animal Hospital. This benchmark is an amazing accomplishment towards the ethical treatment of all animals. Project Purr advocates Trap/Neuter/Return as opposed to Trap and Kill. Ultimately, this means lower stray intake rates for the shelters, tremendous cost savings for taxpayer-funded animal control, less competition for homes for adoptable cats, and less euthanasia for all cats! Each feral cat or kitten altered brings us coser to reaching the goal of no more unwanted homeless animals. All-volunteer Project Purr is funded solely through donations! Ferals Are Our Friends! Fix a Feral! Spay a Stray! Come Visit Us! Our website is www.projectpurr.org ... donate on-line...or leave us a message a 831/423-MEOW...we'd love to hear from you.
